Opening the stable door: new initiatives at the Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology

Abstract
The Petrie Museum ut UCL contains u world-class collection of Egyptian objects that ranges chronologically from early prehistoric to Islamic times, but it is inadequately housed and remains little known outside Egyptology. It has now been designated us of national importance and its stuff have ambitious plans to provide greater access, via the Internet and in other ways, to the 80000 objects it contains.
